Annual Fund
Annual Fund
Roots School is an independent, nonprofit school, and one of the ways that we sustain our operations is through charitable contributions. One of our most important fundraising campaigns is the Annual Fund.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is a way for our Roots community to contribute resources that are put to work immediately to support our school. Parents, grandparents, staff and board members are all an important part of the Annual Fund campaign. The Annual Fund provides immediate, flexible resources that can help support what makes Roots special – small class sizes, music and art enrichment, field trips, and more.
Why should I contribute to the Annual Fund?
In order to keep our tuition as affordable as possible, we also need the support of charitable donations. And when foundations consider us for grants, one of their many requirements is that families are contributing to the Annual Fund. Your support is a measure of the health of our school, and foundations use this measurement when awarding grant funds.
This year our goal is to raise $7,000 by October 31! 100% of the Annual Fund will go toward our Tuition Aid Program for families with financial need.
